"Much of the troubled legal and financial saga surrounding prominent Ocala cardiologist Dr. Asad Qamar came to an end last week when, as expected, UF Health Shands Hospital purchased most of Qamar’s Institute of Cardiovascular Excellence properties. The Institute for Cardiovascular Excellence is also known as ICE. UF Health Shands Hospital paid $8.3 million for the ICE offices at 4730 SW 39th Road in Ocala, off State Road 200, and at 10435 SW 170th Place, Summerfield."
